A loan of $1,000 helped buy products that are basic necessities.

José David's story

José David C., who is 47, lives in the Usulután district with his parents and a small niece. José has a small store in which he sells basic necessities and food products such as basic grains, dairy products, bread, oil, and other items that he sells wholesale. The business is located in his home, where he has many customers who buy his products to stock smaller businesses. José is a person who is very dedicated to his work and who makes a great effort to support his parents and his niece, as well as covering all the household expenses. His parents are of a rather advanced age, but in spite of this they help him tend his business, especially at peak hours when there are a lot of customers.

José is applying for a loan so that he can buy new products that he still doesn't have and also buy products like flour, oil, basic grains, dairy products, and others items which are in great demand. This will permit him to increase his earnings and at the same time to keep his business steady.
