Mahutin Gilles's story

Mahutin Gilles A. was born on 21st July 1973 in Cotonou, the economic capital of Benin. Gilles has lived for around thirty years in Lokokoukoumè, in the municipality of Sèmè-Podji. He is married to Armelle Yehossou, a trader. The couple has four children who are all at school. Gilles lives with his family in Lokokoukoumè. He left school at secondary level. In order to provide for the various needs of his children and to cover his expenses, Gilles sells medicinal roots and plants in his shop. He gets his supplies at Dantokpa, Benin's international market. He has been carrying out this activity for the past sixteen years and has already had two loans from ALIDé, both of which he repaid in full. Gilles would like to expand his business and respond better to the various demands of his customers; for this reason he is requesting a third loan.
