A loan of $1,875 helps a member to purchase merchandise for resale to support his family.

Sabougnouma Group's story

His name is Abdoulaye. He is a 49 year old shopkeeper from Mali. He purchases his merchandise (tea, sugar, oil, soap, rice, powdered milk) at the local market from wholesalers and resells them in his village.

Thanks to this activity he manages to cover his family's expenses (food, shoes, clothing, school fees, and medical expenses). He has been in the business for 10 years. In order to meet his funding needs he turned to RMCR to expand his shop.

His dream is to build a house in the county town of the commune.
