A loan helped to buy pigs and feed to raise them.

Geovanna's story

Geovanna is an 18-year-old young woman. She's a single mother and she has a two-year-old daughter.

Geovanna started going out to work as a day laborer to be able to support her daughter. She also raises pigs. She leaves her daughter with her sister while she works.

She wants to be able to raise more pigs, so she's requesting the support of a Kiva loan that will enable her to buy piglets and feed to raise them.

This way she'll be able to have an active business that will yield her what she needs to be able to finish her secondary education and cover her basic expenses and her daughter's.
