Victoria's story

Meet 43-year-old Victoria from Liberia. She is a widow with five children. She attended school up to 8th grade.

She runs a business which sells rice, charcoal, water, red oil, vegetables and other items. She has dealt in this business for the past three years now and works eight hours per day, six days a week. For the time been she has had no problem with her business.

She requested this loan from BRAC to purchase more rice, charcoal, water, red oil, vegetables and other items to sell and increase her business.

She says that the extra income from this loan will help improve their standard of living.

She is so proud of her business because it help provides for her needs.

In the future, she would like to build a big shop. She says thanks and gives appreciation to BRAC and the Kiva community for their support.
