A loan of $1,800 helps a member to purchase candies, soft drinks, a variety of food, and more.

Vaqueria Group's story

This is a new committee formed by 10 women who help each other and have a common goal, which is to improve themselves and to continue helping their families. They are also in the poverty elimination program.

One of the members is Ana, who has an eatery in her house, in which she sells food she makes herself. She says that she is partnered and that together they help each other to be able to contribute to the household and cover the daily expenses. She is happy to be in the group, since this will allow her to invest in her business and improve it.

She asks for this loan to purchase products for her candies, soft drinks, a variety of food, and more, so to have a greater variety to offer her customers.

Note: There is only one person in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible to prevent the gathering of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
