A loan of $1,875 helps a member to buy flour, eggs, butter, and other products.

San Jose Group's story

This is a new group, formed by women who are heads of their families, distinguished by united work and mutual help. Also they are included in the program for the elimination of poverty, with the goal of improving and bettering themselves every day.

One of them is Haidi, an enthusiastic person with much desire to better herself and to get ahead. She says that she works selling dessert products that she herself makes and sells. She has an established clientele and because everything she sells is delicious, she is able to make progress little by little. She defines herself as a determined person who is not afraid of challenges, and does everything she can to achieve her goals.

She requests this loan to buy raw materials to make her products, such as flour, eggs, butter, and other products.

Note: Although there is only one person in the photo, this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo, to avoid gathering people during the Covid-19 pandemic.

In this group: Clarisse, Tania, Leidy, Haidi, Blanca, Maria, Maria, Liz, Eulalia, Lila, Mirian, Mirna, Mirtha
