Helen's story

Helen G., a 49-year-old married mother with five school-aged children, is from the town of Banga where she earns a living planting and harvesting rice for sale. She has been engaged in her business for over three years.

Helen joined CEVI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Having successfully repaid her previous loan from CEVI, she is now requesting a new one, her sixth, of 15000 PHP to purchase fertilizers and seeds. Helen plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve her enterprise and sustain her family's income.
