Gulmira's story

The 53-yer-old Gulmira is married, with three children. She has a secondary education, and is kind and outgoing by nature. She has been raising livestock and growing crops for 30 years, and this is her main contribution to the family income. Thanks to Gulmira's hard work, her farm presently consists of 80 sheep.

In order to develop her business further, Gulmira has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 20,000 som (KGS), to buy livestock and increase her livestock-rearing income. She is planning to put the income generated by the loan into expanding her farm.
