Mujeres Emprendedoras De Micaela Bastidas Group's story

The communal bank "MUJERES EMPRENDEDORAS D. MICAELA BASTIDAS" [Women Entrepreneurs of Micaela Bastidas] is maD. up of eight partners who are solidly united,. Each of them are hard workers and have goals.

For the past ten years, Diana Lourdes has been dedicated to the business of typing, faxing, and photocopying. She has operated using the business name "Centro D. Copias Albert" [Albert Copy Center]. This business pays for her home expenses, the education of her children, and for other expenses, as she is a single parent, and the sole provider for her family. She is a very enthusiastic member, and for this reason, she represents the group as president.

She got started in this business after doing a market study which showed that this area was a strategically sound place to start such a business. She also got started when she found herself single with many expenses to cover. With her daily hard work over the past 10 years, she has gotten the business off the ground and has been able to purchase three photocopiers. Diana's big dream is to open an Internet cafe.

This loan will be used to purchase two display counters.

All of the members are extremely happy and grateful for the opportunities they have been given through these loans. Because of them, they have been able to gain a better quality of life.
