Sreymach's story

Sreymach, age 27, is a married woman, and she lives with her family in the area of Kiri Vong District, Takeo Province. She earns income by working as a garment worker at a small factory. She can earn approximately of USD $5 per day, which has to cover the expense of her family's needs and savings for future needs. Her husband helps them earn more financially by working as paid laborer.

Because of the shortage in her finances, she applied for a loan of USD $1,000 to pay for land filling around her house to cover the mud. With this loan support, she can provide her family members with a good environment, fresh air, protection from illness and better living conditions.

In the future, she aims to renovate her old house and purchase more grocery produce for selling.
