A loan of $725 helps to purchase livestock to increase her income from breeding livestock.

Anara's story

This wonderful woman Anara is 49 years old, married, and raising 5 children. She has a secondary education. As the main source of income for her family she has been working with livestock and agriculture since 1995. Thanks to Anara's hard work and the help of her husband on the farm, today her farm has 4 cows.

In order to further develop her farm, Anara is asking for support from the Kiva foundation in the amount of 60,000 som (KGS) to buy livestock with the goal of increasing her income from raising livestock. Proceeds from the loan will help her to expand her farm by increasing the size of the herd of pedigreed livestock.
