The Solidarité Sainte Bernadette group has been created three years ago. Its members are nine women belonging to the Catholic Women’s Association of the Louga parish. They full participate in various parish activities. They are all from the same church community of Base.

Mrs. Awa S., standing on the far left on the photo is the group’s leader. She is 39 years old. She is married and the mother of seven children in her care.She has been a member of the Banc Villageois of Catholic Women for three [years]. She obtained loans six times, and never had any problems repaying them.

She keeps a kiosk by her house where she sells miscellaneous products such as cigarettes, sugar, cookies, soap (powdered and in bars), and tea. She has been in this business for six years. Her new loan will permit her to expand her stock and grow her small business. She helps her husband to meet the expenses related to the healthcare, food, and schooling for her children.

Le groupe de Solidarité Sainte Bernadette est créé depuis trois ans. Il est composé de 09 femmes toutes de l'Association des femmes Catholiques de la Paroisse de Louga. Elle participent pleinement aux diverses activité de ladite Paroisse. Elles sont toutes issues de la même communauté ecclésiale de Base.

Madame AWA S., debout à l'extrême gauche de la photo est responsable du groupe de solidarité. Elle est âgée de 39ans. Elle est mariée et mère de 07 enfants en charge.

Elle est membre du Banc Villageois des femmes Catholiques de Louga depuis trois. Elle a 6 fois de suite reçu de crédit. Elle n'a jamais eu de problème de recouvrement.

Elle est détentrice d'un kiosque chez elle où elle vend divers produits tels; des cigarettes, du sucre, des biscuits, du savon en poudre et en morceaux, du thé etc. Elle pratique cette activité depuis 06 ans.

Son nouveau prêt lui permettra de renforcer son kiosque en marchandises et ainsi étendre son petit commerce.

Elle assiste son mari pour la prise en charge de la santé, la nourriture et la scolarité des enfants.
