A loan of $600 helps to buy materials and merchandise to increase production.

Emile Dayana's story

Emile, age 19, is a young person with a great entrepreneurial spirit. She lives in the city of Ibarra, province of Imbabura. Emilie's family is originally from Esmeraldas, but she had to move to the city of Ibarra for her studies. There, with much sacrifice and help from all her family, she has managed to get ahead.

Now Emile is in the second semester of a degree program in accounting. Also, Emile has her own business. She works making bathroom accessories, covers for furniture and chairs, tablecloths, and other items.

Emile requests this loan to buy materials and supplies to continue with her business, which has permitted her to pay the costs of her classes as well as family expenses. Emile is grateful to Kiva for the trust and opportunity to continue growing personally and professionally.
