A loan helped a member to buy 15 bags of corn, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Mlezi Group's story

Mrs. Jorime is a client of Hekima MFI and president of the village group "MLEZI". She is married, 46 years old and mother of 7 children who are all in school. Her partner is a mechanic.

She sells corn. She started this business 12 years ago with start-up funds from her husband. Later, she involved the Hekima program to support her business, during which she gradually evolved. With this new loan, she will buy 15 bags of corn, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is the lack of merchandise.

She would like her children to continue studying and also to provide for her family.

Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support provided to owners of non-bankable businesses in this context of the global covid-19 crisis. The photo only shows the leader of the group due to Covid-19, in compliance with social distancing measures.
