Myness's Group's story

Myness is a 29 years woman, married and a mother to three children aged 7 years, 4 years and a 1 year old child. She does rice production farming as her business and she enjoys being a rice farmer. She has been in this business for 14 years and this makes her a proud farmer with experience in managing rice in the field.

She is a leader in her group known as Kolamatope 2 group. The group is comprised of 13 members. In the picture she is standing at the back dressed in orange blouse with her hand raised up.

The new loan will help to buy a solar powered irrigation pump and farm inputs. The solar pump will help her reduce costs for labour and will help her produce more than twice a year. She intends to educate her children with the profits realised from the business and she plans to grow her business too.
