Maria Luisa's story

Maria Luisa S. is from the town of Baclayon. She is 35 years old. Maria Luisa is married and has four school-aged children. To make a living, Maria Luisa runs a general store, selling both food and daily use products in her local community. Maria Luisa has been engaged in her business for over a year and earns approximately 1800 PHP a month for these activities.

Maria Luisa joined CEVI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Maria Luisa is requesting a new loan of 6000 PHP which will be used to purchase additional products to sell. This loan will be the first loan taken out by Maria Luisa from CEVI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to make improvements to their house.
