Mariana's story

Mariana is a 37-year-old woman from the village of Hlinaia, Edinet region of Moldova. She is married and lives with her husband and two children in her own home. Mariana loves her family very much. She and her husband work in agriculture. Now, she owns three greenhouses, 2 ha of her own land and 5 ha of land obtained from her parents. Mariana's business is a familiar one. Family members help each other a lot to support and grow their business.

Now, Mariana has to plant the seedlings in greenhouses and buy fertilizer. The sale of the obtained harvest helps her to obtain income for the maintenance of the family; therefore, it does its best to provide continuity to its business.
