Mom's story

Mom is 39 years old, married, and has one child who's attending the local school. She lives with her family in the Angkor Chey District of Kampot Province.

Mom is a farmer who owns a few hectares of farmland on which she grows various kinds of crops, including rice and potatoes. Her husband is a construction worker in the village. She and her husband help each other earn household income so that they can provide food, medicines, education, and basic living needs.

Because of a shortage in her finances, she has applied for a loan of KHR 4,000,000 to pay for ground filler to cover the mud around her house. With this loan, she can pay for the landfill and provide her family members with a good environment and fresh air, protecting them from illness and creating better living conditions.

In the future, she aims to renovate her old house and push her child to continue studying at university. She believes that through her hard work and perseverance, she will be able to attain a better standard of living someday.
