This group created in December 2010 is composed of energetic women who have the spirit of solidarity and maintain good neighborly relations. Their main business activity is retailing food items and condiments. Oumou, the one standing in the photo, is the group representative. She is 59 years old, a widow and the mother of seven children, including four daughters.

Oumou uses her loans to buy various food items and condiments for resale. She stocks up at the central market wholesale and resells retail in her neighborhood, where she keeps a stand. Oumou has a loyal customer following thanks to her many years of experience in this line of business.

She uses her revenues to buy goats and sheep to raise and also to help her child who is the head of the household with the costs of the children's schooling, food clothing, and healthcare services when needed.
