Josephine is a single mother of four children, all of whom are at school. She doesn’t take care of additional family members.
She plans to use this loan to buy more bags of feed for her chickens. She has been in this business for the last three years and has no additional income. Her customers are the local people around the area. She works seven days a week. She depends on this job for a living.
Her business challenges are seasonality and the ever increasing price of feeds. She joined MCDT because of the good services provided and the low interest charged.
Josephine’s monthly expenses are food, medication and school fees. She resides in and owns a three-roomed house and the family has access to electricity but no piped water.
