Zozan

Palestine
Jenin-West Bank, Palestine / Primary/secondary school costs

A loan of $2,000 helped pay college tuition fees.

Zozan's story

Zozan is a 39-year-old mother of three sons and one daughter. Her husband, Nafez, works in the vegetable market in Jenin, a city in Palestine. One of Zozan's sons is a National Palestinian Authority employee who has a very low salary because he is a college student. The rest of her children are school students.

Zozan's dream is to help her son continue his education, and earn a B.A. degree so he can get a better job and help the family live a better life. Zozan came to FATEN and took a $2,000 loan to pay for her son's college tuition.

Zozan's husband, Nafez, appears in the picture here in FATEN's office, because Zozan is a conservative woman who doesn't like having her picture published.
