Rat-Tana's story

Rat-Tana is a married woman who lives with her husband and child in the northeastern part of Thailand. Her family cultivates rice on their farm and raises beef cattle to earn a living.

Rat-Tana needed to generate more income to cover her family’s expenses, so a neighbor encouraged her to start raising beef cattle. So far, this venture has generated sufficient profits. Rat-Tana is looking for an opportunity to expand this business, so she applied for a Kiva loan to buy more cattle to raise and sell.
