María Del Pilar's story

María del Pilar, 38, is a mother living with her husband and three children in Huabal, a population center in Chepén district, an agricultural area with moderate commercial activity. It belongs to Chepén province, La Libertad region located an hour and forty-five minutes from the city of Chiclayo, Lambayeque region’s capital.

She is a farmer. She has a field where she grows various grains and cereals like corn and rice. Her family depends on this activity for a large part of their economy. Therefore, she always cares for her crops so that they will yield the best possible production.

On this occasion she has planted corn in her field. María wants to care for it adding fertilizer. She has found it convenient, therefore, to request her first, 2000 new sol, loan from Edpyme Alternativa to reach this goal.

María del Pilar always puts maximum effort into her family’s success. Her greatest wish is to continue working to provide her family with a better quality of life.
