A loan helped to buy farming inputs to improve her corn farming business that has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sally's story

Sally is a 41-year-old mother of 3 school going children living in Kapsowar, a town surrounded by prime agricultural lands that favor large-scale grain farming, dairy, and corn farming. Her lovely children are the wheelpower toward her continued hard work and perseverance. Sally has practiced mixed farming for the past many years, and this has enabled her to send all of her children to school.

Sally is requesting this loan to buy farming inputs to improve her corn farming business that has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. She hopes that Kiva lenders are going to respond positively to her loan request and has thanked her lenders in advance.

This loan is special because:

It finances smallholder farmers to purchase dairy cows, chickens, cereals, farm inputs and farming equipment.
