Buliisa Kwegata, Mubende Group's story

Sennyonga J., aged 36, is a peasant farmer who grows food crops such as beans and maize to sell to produce and grocery dealers. He is very hardworking and his ambition is to own a big agricultural farm in his home area of Buliisa, Mubende.

J. has developed a strong attribute of determination that, along with his strong, hardworking attitude, has played into his hands, giving his ten-year enterprise a dependable niche. With monthly profits to the tune of 200,000 UGX, J. believes that the sky is the limit for what he intends to achieve. With this loan, he hopes to purchase fertilizers to improve his farm as well as pesticides as pests have affected crops hence reducing yields. This will improve his yields and sales revenue and enable him to live a more satisfying life.
