A loan of $500 helped to buy seasonal fruits.

Sandra Mirtha's story

Sandra lives the Miraflores neighborhood of the El Torno, located 39 km away from the town of Santa Cruz. Her main activity is to sell fruits, on top of being a hairdresser. Due to the lack of jobs, her husband has traveled abroad looking for a more promising future that will allow him to help his wife providing for their family, composed of 6 children of school age. She has been living in the community for 6 years, and thanks to some loans she has been able to build her house and succeeded in having enough money to maintain her activity. The loan she is requesting will be used to buy seasonal fruits such as cherimoyas (custard apples), tangerines, papayas and so on. She is a very hard-working and responsible woman, always caring for the well-being of her family. She is really thankful to Emprender and Kiva for the confidence shown in granting her the loan.
