A loan helped to buy bags of flour and cans of oil to make cakes and to save money to buy a plot of land.

Saranta's story

Saranta is the mother of 3 children, 2 of which are in school. She has been selling cakes for more than 9 years in a neighborhood surrounding the capital.

She is on her 9th loan cycle with IMF Yikri, and she has repaid her loans properly and without difficulties. She requested a loan to buy bags of lour and cans of oil to make cakes and to satisfy her customer’s demands.

She plans to use her earnings to reinvest in her business, and to save money to buy a plot of land. She hopes that everyone is protected from the Covid-19 virus.
