Juana Bautista

A loan of $1,150 helped working capital to purchase scrap metal, iron, copper and bronze.

Juana Bautista's story

Sra. Juana Bautista M. is 53 years old. She is separated and has 3 children. One daughter, who is 33 years old, lives with Sra. Juana. Another, who is 30 years old, lives in Spain, where she has her own family. And her son, who is also 30 years old, lives with her as well. Sra. Juana makes her living buying scrap metal, iron, copper and bronze from workshops, chop shops and individuals in different cities of the interior of the country. She then sells them to recycling companies. To accomplish this work, she has a 1990 Mitsubishi Canter, which her younger son drives. The loan was used to purchase large quantities of scrap iron, iron, copper and bronze from workshops, chop shops and individuals to then sell to recycling and storage facilities.
