A loan helped a member to sell peanut paste.

08-Darou Salam Mbaye Group's story

This group was created in September 2013 by the women of the village who share the same values of solidarity, helping each other and giving to others. They are active in small business. Madame Coumba, alone in the photo because of the measures against Covid 19, represents the group. 34 years old, she is married and the mother of 5 children. She also has 2 other dependent children. She sells peanut seeds and nététou (a spicy condiment made from the néré seed). With her new loan, she plans to buy peanut seeds that she transforms into paste to resell with nététou. Her profits will be used to buy cattle and take care of her personal and family needs.

In this group: Marame, Coumba, Dalanda, Mariama, Ndeye Adama, Yacine Bigue
