Choeurn's story

Choeurn is married man living in the Angkor Borei district with his spouse and children who are still dependent on his income. Choeurn, together with his spouse, works hard in order to educate their children and provide basic needs to the family.

Choeurn is a tuk tuk driver and work strongly everyday to earn profit. At home, his wife helps him to earn additional income by operating a small convenience shop offering many types of products, including grocery items, snack foods, sweets, powders, canned food, noodles, and miscellaneous household things to local people in his community. This couple makes a suitable income of 11 USD per day from which they can cover their daily costs.

Currently, his roof is lacking and is bad when it rains. He needs more material to repair his roof. Due to a shortage of money, he is asking for a loan to buy construction supplies for the renovation of his old home. He has requested a loan in the amount of USD 2,000 to buy cement, brick, zinc, and other equipment for renovation.

He hopes that, through the help of the loan, he can provide everyone in his family with a suitable place to live and comfortable living conditions. He sends thanks to all lenders who contribute their funds to help support a poor fellow like him.
