A loan helped a member to purchase vegetables, meat, baked goods, seasonings, greens, and other products.

Mujeres Activas Group's story

This committee, named Mujeres Unidas, was formed when friends and neighbors decided to get together to help each other be able to give their families better living conditions. In addition, they are in the poverty elimination program.

One of them is Guillermina, who works selling food that she makes herself and then sells as a street vendor. Her goal is to be able to continue growing and, with this, that her loved ones lack for nothing, particularly her 4 children, for whom she struggles to be able to give them a better quality of life.

She asks for this loan to purchase the raw material to make her food, such as vegetables, meat, baked goods, seasonings, greens, and other products.

Note: There is only one person in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible to prevent the gathering of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this group: Alicia, Guillermina, Blanca, Emiliana, Cynthia, Asuncion, Lucia, Maria, Mirian, Marilin, Esmilda, Monica, Aurelia, Liz, Fabiana, Andrea, Marcela, Dionicia
