A loan helped to buy piglets, whey, and cull potatoes. She will also expand her pigsty.

Gladys Ximena's story

Gladys is a humble countrywoman who lives in the community of San Juan Bosco, a rural area, where she works raising small animals to support her household. She is grateful for the loan received. With it she was able to acquire a breeding sow which has provided her good offspring. She sells the baby pigs after a few months. This allows Gladys to minimize the burden on her husband to support the household on his own.

At times the crops they have produce during the low season, decreasing their earnings. For that reason Gladys wants to continue boosting her business raising pigs, so she is seeking a loan to buy piglets, whey, and cull potatoes. She will also expand her pigsty. This will provide her a greater number of pigs which will be cared for well.
