A loan helped a member to increase her stock by buying more shoes.

Dutabarane Tcb Group's story

Esperence is a 42-year-old mother of eight children aged three to 22 years old. Her husband is a driver, and for the past four years, she has been selling shoes.

Esperence happens to be the leader of the group named Dutabarane Tcb, which in English means “Let us help each other.” Group members, who will share in this loan, sell different items and own a variety of businesses within and outside their community.

Esperence will use her loan to increase her stock by buying more shoes so that she can sell within her community. She hopes the profits from her sales will allow her to increase her savings and improve her family's living standards.

She is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members, but was able to photograph one representative.

In this group: Aline, Drocelle, Ubarijoro, Mariamu, Esperence, Jeannette, Jeanne, Colette, Julienne, Liliane, Dina, Ramadhan, Ndagijimana, Jean Damour , Clarisse, Claudine, Olive, Kharimu, Amina, Dative, Augustin, Eugene, Evaliste
