A loan of $200 helped buying supplies to make hammocks, such as silk thread in various colors, and buying fish.

Tomasa Del Carmen's story

Tomasa is 22 years old and lives in the municipality of Lolotique, in the Department of Morazán. She lives with her husband, and she has a 4-year-old child. Her work is selling fish and making hammocks.

She has been working in the hammock business for a year. She learned the trade thanks to her mother, and she also sells fish, which she buys in the city of San Miguel and sells twice a week in the area surrounding Lolotique. On the other days, she works making hammocks. She is requesting a loan to buy supplies, such as silk thread of various colors, and to buy fish.

Tomasa's dreams are to acquire a market stall in Lolotique to sell her fish, to improve her sales, and to improve her family's quality of life.
