Kuña Guapa Group's story

The group named “Kuña Guapa” is in its third loan cycle with the Women’s Committee Program. All of the members are working and helping one another to get ahead. In addition, they are participating in the poverty elimination program as they strive to achieve a better quality of life for their loved ones.

One of the members who is worth mentioning is Francisca, who sells food at her modest small restaurant. She says that her humble work enables her to help her husband with covering the needs of their children. Francisca defines herself as a person who strives on behalf of her loved ones so that she can provide them with everything she did not have. She is pleased to have the opportunity to be part of this group because it will allow her to receive training so that she can continue improving in her work.

Francisca is requesting a loan to buy cooking utensils, containers, and ingredients for preparing food. As a result, she will be able to continue her work. In the future, she plans to build a dining hall on her property where she can sell food.
