A loan helped to pay for landfill around her house to cover the mud.

Sreyleak's story

Sreyleak, age 26, is married and lives with her family, located in the area of Prey Kabbas District, in Takeo Province.

At home, Sreyleak has been operating a small convenience shop, offering many types of products, including grocery items, snack foods, sweets, powders, canned food, noodles, and miscellaneous household things, to local people in her community.

She has a good responsibility in her tasks such as asking customers questions and recommending the best product based on their desires and needs and preparing products to be displayed on the sales floor. She makes a suitable income of 4 USD per day, from which she can cover her daily costs.

Because of the shortage of her finances, she has applied for a loan in the amount of USD 2,000 to pay for landfill around her house to cover the mud. With this loan support, she can pay for landfill and can provide her family members with a good environment, fresh air, protection from illness and good living conditions.

In the future, she aims to renovate her old house and push her children to continue studying at university. She sends thanks to all of the lenders who have contributed their funds to help a poor woman like her, and she promises to pay the loan back on time as scheduled.

This loan is special because:

It provides access to clean, renewable energy sources, like solar and biogas.
