Rovelyn's story

Rovelyn C. is from the village of San Francisco, Cauayan City,Isabela. She is 31 years old. Rovelyn is married and has 2 school-aged children. To make a living, Rovelyn owns & operates a business raising livestock, primarily pigs, for fattening and sale. Rovelyn has been engaged in her business for over 2 years and earns approximately 3200 PHP every time she sells one of her raised pigs.

In 2008, Rovelyn joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and her ability to engage in business activities. Rovelyn is requesting a new loan of 15000 PHP which will be used to purchase livestock feed & other supplies. This will be the first loan taken out by Rovelyn from ASKI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve and expand her business.
