A loan helped to pay for boxes of raw chicken wings, sausages, and minced beef to stock her deep freeze to better provide for her customers.

Cosalyn Woi's story

Cosalyn Woi is a 27 year old woman who has a partner who is a power plant operator. She lives with her partner in her own home which is located 6 kilometres out of Port Vila city. Her community is small, and the main industry is service. There is an international school located in her community including a day-care center for toddlers. As Cosalyn Woi's community has a lot of expats living there, making an income in her community has been tricky.

Cosalyn Woi has requested a loan to pay for boxes of raw chicken wings, sausages, and minced beef to stock up her deep freezer which is located on her home island, Ambae, which is 268 kilometres out of Port Vila city. She wants to be able to meet her customers' demands as they have grown since she started her business in early 2020. Her brother helps her run her business.

Cosalyn Woi dreams of expanding her business and becoming the largest butcher shop in her home island. South Pacific Business Development (Vanuatu) has aided Cosalyn Woi for over two years now, and this is her third loan. She has been devoted to paying her prior loans in a timely manner. Seeing her business grow, Cosalyn Woi feels empowered to become a successful entrepreneur.
