A loan of $4,525 helped a member to buy sewing supplies like cloths and other accessories in order to increase the production of sewed items that he sells to customers.

Munezero Group's story

Renovat ManiraK. is a 32 year old retailer who lives in Buyenzi, an urban community which is part of the Bujumbura mayorship. He has been sewing for 12 years. He attended secondary school and got his A3 diploma in the paramedical section. His wife, U. Assiya, is also a retailer. He is currently in the 8th cycle in the community loan with Turame.

He has 3 children aged 8, 6 and 2 years old who are in their first year at school, except for the youngest one who does not attend school yet.

He is requesting a Kiva loan to buy sewing supplies such as cloths and other accessories in order to increase the production of sewed items that he sells to his customers. In the future, he hopes to have his own capital to buy modern sewing machines and thus be able to provide for the various needs of his household, pay for his children’s school fees and meet other basic needs.

He is a member of the “Munezero” community group
