08-Oudoucar Group's story

The 'banc villageois' was created in May 2008. It covers this group of 18 women who are traders. They live in neighboring villages and get along well together. They are dynamic and united. Aissatou, aged 41 years, with her hand raisesd in the photo, is the representative of the group. She is a widow and the mother of 2 children. She has 3 other dependent children.

With her new loan, she plans to buy a bag of sugar, cans of palm oil and vegetable oil, a box of tea, spices and onions to sell.

The profits will go towards covering her personal needs and those of the household.
