Zoila Esperanza's story

Zoila is 45 years old and lives in Concepción Batres, within the Usulután department. She is married, lives with her husband and has two children, ages 15 and 14. She has a store where she sells basic needs products and started her business two years ago and on her own initiative. Her children would help her to sell and her husband worked in agriculture.

Zoila normally attends to business from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. Her sales have been doing well, but she has seen the need to request a loan so that she can buy items such as: cooking oil, coffee, sugar, powdered milk, beans, rice, and other products that her requested by her customers. Her aspirations are to expand her business, support her children, and improve her family’s economic status.
