A loan of $725 helped pay for maintenance of the vehicle she uses for transporting her products.

Edita's story

Edita is 36 years old and lives in her home with her husband and three children. For more than three years she has been growing vegetables, especially broccoli and cauliflower, since these are highly prized goods that earn good prices at the market. For this reason, she puts the effort into planting these crops. Her husband and children are always monitoring each step that is required to grow each product, from planting through harvest. She hires workers for the final process which involves collecting everything that is ready for harvest. Once everything is collected Edita sells her products directly at the local market, but she also takes them to other cities nearby to expand her customer base. During the whole time she has been farming, Edita has seen improvements in her finances because her profits have been good and her land has maintained its fertility season after season. In order to keep improving her crops, she wants to expand by acquiring more land.

This is her tenth loan with MFP. Edita is very happy to know she has financial support, which is why she has always demonstrated responsibility with her payments. She is glad to be part of her Communal Bank because all of the members are responsible and supportive people. Edita thanks those individuals who will be approving this loan since it will be very useful in advancing her business. The loan she is requesting will be used to pay for maintenance of the vehicle she uses for transporting her products to other cities.
