Alleluya Group's story

Ms. Fitina is a client of the Hekima IMF and the chair of the "Alleluya" village group. She is married, 59 years old and the mother of nine children, three of whom are in school and six are already independent. Her husband is unemployed.

Fitina sells smoked fish. She launched this business about ten years ago with the launching funds received from her husband. Later on she joined the Hekima program to develop her business and has been growing it gradually. With this new loan she will stock up on smoked and salted fish, reinforcing her initial capital. Her business challenge is related to unpaid debts. Fitina would like to see her children to continue to study as well as to provide for her family.
