Los Girasoles 2 Group's story

This is the Girasoles 2 association, from Managua, Nicaragua. For two loan cycles they have worked together with Pro Mujer. A new loan allows them to invest in their businesses selling cleaning products, perfumes, motorcycle workshop, bookstore, tortilla sales, and clothing repair.

They are paying and responsible women like Ana Luisa (Black skirt, flowered shirt 5th from right to left). She is 65 years old. She is a friendly and hard-working person. In the future she plans to have a larger cafeteria where she can offer drinks, food and desserts.

For now she sells soft drinks in a modest place and delivers merchandise on request. A new loan will be invested in the purchase of cosmetics, clothing and wholesale raw materials for drinks. The high cost of living and rising energy are her main challenges that she struggles with every month.
