A loan helped a member to stock up on Bralima and and Brasimba drinks, which will reinforce her initial capital.

Amka Group's story

Madam Agnes is a client of Hekima and the leader of the Amka group villageoise. She is 59 years old and married. Her husband is a teacher. They have four children.

Madam Agnes is a vendor of drinks. She began her business in 2008 with her husband's support. Later on she partnered with Hekima in order to support her business, which has grown progressively.

With this new loan, she plans to purchase Bralima and Brasimba drinks in order to restock. This will reinforce her initial capital. The main difficulty her business faces is unpaid debts.

Madam Agnes's dream is to feed her family and save up enough to do some construction on their house.

Lastly, Madam Agnes would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the financial support they bring to non-bankable small business owners, particularly in the context of the global Covid-19 crisis.

In order to maintain social distancing measures only the group leader is photographed at this time.
