Purita's story

Purita M. is a 49-year old married woman who supports her family by operating 2 business ventures: A General Store and a Rice Retailer businesses. She lives in Purok Casoy, Tabugon, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental. She has been a member of NWTF-Project Dungganon since 2006 and has improved her living conditions with the help of her loans from NWTF and through her own efforts. By working hard in her General Store and Rice Retailer businesses, she is gradually making her family more economically stable. She now earns an average income of P8,000 monthly.

Purita is now borrowing PHP P29,500 so that she could use it as an additional working capital and to purchase a water buffalo. This will be her 10TH loan from NWTF-Project Dungganon. Her previous loan of P22,000, which she paid off well within its term, was just another step in her journey towards economic freedom. Purita aspires to elevate her family's living conditions and ensure their future well being by following the Dungganon way.
