A loan helped to buy pigs, potatoes, animal feed, whey, and veterinary supplies.

Elvia Isolina's story

Elvia has worked with Banco Vision Fund Ecuador for seven years. The loans have helped her to boost her business selling baked potatoes. The pandemic, however, brought serious consequences; among them was her decreased sales of street food.

To find a better alternative for work and to progress, Elvia has decided to start raising pigs. She is, therefore, requesting a new loan which will allow her to buy pigs, potatoes, animal feed, whey, and veterinary supplies as well as to rent the pig sties. By doing this, Elvia seeks a way to boost her economic activity once again and make a living.
