A loan of $1,100 helps to buy perfume, jewellery, cosmetics and creams amongst other products.

Guadalupe Monserrate's story

Guadalupe Monserrate and her family live in the city of Puerto López. It is a place with beautiful beaches. It is still deeply effected by COVID-19 as with a second wave things have not returned to normal.

She is a hard-working woman who does all she can to earn her resources and thus help her husband get ahead with their household. She is doing this thanks to the loans. She earns a living selling Avon and Yanbal products (perfume, creams, make-up and women's accessories). Her method of selling is going door-to-door, selling at her house and also via social media. She sells on credit and collects every eight days. Doing this she is managing to improve her life in spite of the fear she still has of getting sick.

This loan will be used to buy perfume, jewellery, cosmetics and creams amongst other products. She hopes to continue to be supported by these loans.
