Lenah's story

Happy and ever-smiling stands Lenah, 32, a mother who lives in Eldoret. For the past few years, this enterprising woman has been actively involved in dairy and mixed farming. She loves farming, for it is her only way of securing a living for her lovely family.

Lenah dreams that through farming she will be able to pull away from poverty and see to it that her family member have good lives. She is a visionary and is keen to ensure that she keeps on progressing.

Juhudi Kilimo, in partnership with Kiva, has extended its services to the remote areas in the Eldoret region of Kenya. Their staff are keen to ensure that hardworking women like Lenah benefit from loans that should enable them to purchase assets and farming inputs.

Lenah is seeking a loan to buy farm inputs such as seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers to improve her corn farm.

Your loan will enable her to improve her production through the use of quality farm inputs. Through this intervention, she will be able to improve the quality of her farm products and attract more buyers, leading to more profits.

This loan is special because:
